Looking Both Ways was a collaborative exhibit with the Smithsonian Institution’s Arctic Studies Center funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. This exhibit paired rare Alutiiq objects from the Smithsonian’s collections with artifacts from the Alutiiq Museum, historic photographs and the words of Alutiiq Elders to chronicle Alutiiq traditions.
