Alutiiq Heritage Foundation

The Alutiiq Museum is a public, non-profit organization (501[c]3 and 509[a]) governed by the Alutiiq Heritage Foundation. A board of directors provides leadership and governance for the museum. Board members represent eight Kodiak Alutiiq organizations and are appointed to serve the museum for their management expertise, community ties, and interest in heritage preservation. The museum does not compensate its directors and every director makes an annual donation to the organization.

Executive Director April Laktonen Counceller is our board liaison. Please contact April with correspondence for our directors.
